Mohsen Khanji is a well-known and highly active Syrian artist who was born in Aleppo in 1950. He depended on his personal experience to develop his career. He is a Member of the Fine Arts Union in Syria. He established Khanji Gallery for Fine Arts in 1989. His work was frequently exhibited in several cities including Aleppo, Damascus, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Tripoli (Lebanon). He is not an artist of fine art only but a philosopher who diagnoses the disease and prescribes the treatment. You can’t watch his work without being attracted to its inner world of symbols and metaphor and sometimes a clear pinpointing to the new experience that he endeavored to its cause.
